Teladoc Takeover

Multiple sources reported the acquisition of Livongo by Teladoc this morning. The app which performs as a chronic care management tool will merge with Teladoc by the end of 2020. Teladoc is an app that allows health care providers to conduct virtual visits. The combination of telehealth and chronic care management apps that are both widely used seems to have promise. Both companies saw their share prices triple since the beginning of the year. The chronic care management tool has been used by patients with conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and behavioral health diagnosis.
